About Us
Family Support of Central Pennsylvania is a child abuse prevention organization committed to building and supporting strong, safe families through mutual support and education. Family Support of Central PA is affiliated with the state office, Pennsylvania Family Support Alliance. Parents engage in peer led, professionally facilitated self-help groups while their children are engaged in specialized programs to promote their own healthy growth and development.
Parents and grandparents come together in community and specialty groups to learn new parenting skills, transform and improve their attitudes and behaviors, and create long-term positive changes in their lives.

Family Support is proud of our collaborations with Carlisle Area Family Life Center, Harrisburg YWCA, Harrisburg Head Start, Keystone Correctional Services, Harrisburg and Carlisle Salvation Army, Safe Harbour Shelter, and community churches.
